Love vs Haters

Just a quick blog on here on some of the feedback I've read and watched on this site when it comes to the girls that are transsexuals running for this contest. Also you can see the detail portion on one of my blog sites that has little bit of how I feel about this subject but I will elaborate a simple point here.

As I have lived in California for the last few years, I know first hand that the Queens and Gay Clubs frankly do not believe that if your a Queen that lives as a woman, (have had worked done, hormones etc) that you are not a True Drag Queen. So coming from the entire different part of the country as you know I've lived all over, it was a culture shock to see that how different parts of the country react if you are "Real enough to be Fake" or however you want to put it in the name of "Drag"

Idealisticly, you can believe whatever you want to believe, but I find it a slap in the face with this debate as some parts of the country are back in the stone age. Most Entertainers, the Veterans as I would call it, will fight to the death on this topic, as a someone that has lived in the drag world, now I like to watch and be a fan of the talented entertainers that I see coming up or have admired back when I was still performing regularly, but the hate has got to stop it is completely unwarranted and demeaning to art of female impersonation.

I have read through pages of blogs and threads over the last few weeks on the subjects of Transsexuals that are the Adult Industry- whatever level of that Industry that you are in if you should be a Title Holder, it really ticked me off this poll so I started for the first time writing my thoughts and pulling statistics as I was floored at the Hatred out there in our own community.

But then I start reading a few comments on some of the pages on here , and found yet I was set off more in this discrimination of "talent vs transsexualism"

Now Rules are Rules, what you have in between your legs is in fact the qualifying factor of pageant rules for some national pageants but also for some clubs that will not let a transsexual perform in a Drag Revue. I find it amusing as I find it Naive Bitter and Cold. Not that the pageants out there that disqualify any "entertainer" that has had hormones or work done not to be entered into there pageant but to sum this all up on this site, it as mixed and co-ed as you can get and for that I am proud to see that, Entertainers in the Drag world from all walks, rather "Boy Queens, Transsexual Queens, DragKings, and MRs, are all up on this site to support one another. That is all and before anyone should start saying who belongs in this contest and any debate going on, it is up to the Producers and Casting Directors of the show and I can't wait to see the end result and I pray it will be in positive light to one of the most fascinating entertainment industry's that has been around since the early 1900s here in America, a few in the pacific northwest, to be exact if you go to the Burlesque era.

Now these are my very strong opinions as I have the right to weigh in my thoughts on this, as I've always stated for myself I hate labels, because when you start to define someone by a label you are stuck in some portrayal of however you were raised to think, or from the very few fact that you might have with thoughts and few clips of a label here and there that has been put in your mind what a label is, is why I have never gone off until now about being a Transsexual. It just infuriates me about a few of these comments and that is all.

Just think before you post people. Because the last thing we need is anymore oppression within our own community's.

Good Luck to Everyone and Happy Voting!

And if I'm flagged for this blog because its political but the negative comments keep going on, remember I'll keep writing on my blogspot or myspace, and other blogs out there that has to deal with this subject. Because its at least in my country I'm Free enough to Write this, though your Voice is sometimes hard to hear it WRITE IT LIKE DISASTER~!
